With a long background in Swedish-Russian relations. Worked at the Swedish Embassy in Moscow in the 1980s and later served as Head of the Cultural Section (2000–2006). In Sweden, held various positions at Sida from the mid-1990s, and later represented Sida at the Consulate General of Sweden in Saint Petersburg. Main focus was international co operation and cross-cultural communication.
